• Worked as an observer of Himachal Pradesh during general election 1993

• Appointed as General Secretary, All India Congress Committee.

• Worked as an Election in charge in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Gujrat.

• In 1995 contested Legislative Election of Maharashtra State from Nagpur - West.

• Held Vice President from 2001.

• Vibarbha Level - Organised a seminar for the workers of mahila Congress at Dr. Vilasrao Deshpande Memorial Hall, Nagpur.

• Actively took part in the meeting arranged by Hon. Chief Minister at Mumbai on 25th Feb 1991 on the problems of women in the state of Maharashtra.

• Worked hard for the success of Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi's Public Meeting at Kasturchand Park, Nagpur on 13th October 1990 and also for Sadbhavana Sammelan organised by City Seva Dal Unit on 19th November 1990.

• Worked hard an organised rally on the birth anniversary of Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 14th November 1987 (2000 youths participated).

• Took lead in the welcome of Shatabadi of Shanti Rath Yatra of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar while entering in Nagpur District on 27th September 1990.

• Closely related with the Organizing Committee of Professors World Peace Academy's Seminar held in November 1990 in Nagpur.

• Organised Sadbhavana Rally on the evening of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 1990 on the instructions of AICC (I) and also Nehru Jayanti as well as the Late Y. B. Chavan Jayanti.

• Lead the various delegations for public issues in Vidarbha Region.

• Closely related with the Seminar arranged at Sawner (M.S.) by Congress (I) Committee (Tauka) in 1992.
  
  

Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal was established on 25th February 1975 with the holistic empowerment of women. As per the constitution of corporation it is to be lead under the strong leadership of women with a successful and glorious political carrier. Recently Smt. Prabha Ojha is a Chairperson of MAVIM having the status of the state.

As a Chairperson of MAVIM I am witnessing its progressive journey since last four years. I had began my political career since last 25 yrs and contribute intensively in the development sector also. I had always kept my thrust upon serving the social cause. MAVIM is working in remote areas with marginalized sections of society, such as scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

MAVIM has brought positive difference in the lives of these common women. I take this opportunity to really appreciate the hard work put in by all MAVIM team; governing body members, Sahyoginies, Staff & officers.
